Typical Schedule: Monday – Friday 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Overtime Eligible – Dependent on Business Need).

Position Requirements
2-3 years Customer Service experience.
2-3 years Inside sales (direct customer contact) experience preferred.
Ability to work both independently and with a team.
Technologically capable: Microsoft Suite knowledge and familiarity with Computer Aided Dispatch (CAD), AS400 highly preferred.
Excellent communication skills and personable demeanor.
Valid unrestricted Driver’s License, minimum age 21, to drive company vehicle.
Strong customer service orientation.
Collaborative mindset with ability to meet sales goals.
High attention to detail and task-switching ability.
Responsibilities
Answer and document all incoming telephone calls and assist customers with rental needs.
Perform all routine rental transactions including creating reservations, scheduling pickups, creating quotes, and processing returned orders.
Assist walk-in customers, vendors, and other inquiries in an upbeat and professional manner.
Select the appropriate type of equipment for customers to ensure satisfaction and safety.
Communicate via two-way radio with the yard and shop regarding loading/unloading of equipment.
Review the credit card rental file daily to ensure accurate billing.
Enter lost rentals, rate inquiries, and service calls into the counter logbook.
Review the open contract bin regularly for items to rent or for closed contracts.
Communicate leads to field sales personnel for follow-up.
Assist in loading/unloading and delivering equipment for customers.
Work extended hours, on-call, or standby rotation as required.
Perform other duties as assigned.
