As a Qualcomm GPU Engineer, you will architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize the performance and power of GPU cores, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to meet and exceed customer needs. Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and at least 2years of Software, Hardware, or Systems Engineering experience. Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field and at least 1year of related engineering experience. PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Preferred Qualifications
Master’s or PhD in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. At least 2years of relevant GPU experience. Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Apply GPU knowledge to architect, design, implement, verify, and optimize GPU cores. Build functional model simulations, develop software, and test for graphics to verify correctness and meet performance and power goals. Program and run graphics tests using tools and methods to assess functionality, performance, and power, and identify issues. Collaborate with teams, third‑party vendors, and external users to guide implementation and ensure alignment with needs and goals. Develop driver and compiler software to support GPU products. Write detailed technical documentation and feature descriptions for GPU projects. Level of Responsibility
Works under supervision. Decision‑making may affect work beyond the immediate group. Requires strong verbal and written communication skills; may require basic negotiation and influence. Pay range: $155,000.00 – $232,600.00. Qualcomm offers a competitive annual discretionary bonus program, annual RSU grants, and a comprehensive benefits package designed to support success at work, at home, and at play.
