is seeking a
Freelance Content Creator
to provide on-property photo and video content capture services in support of our social media work for a luxury hotel client located in
New York City .
This is a freelance/independent contractor opportunity, not a full-time employee position. The contractor will be engaged to capture high-quality visual content that reflects the hotel’s luxury positioning and supports agreed-upon social media initiatives. This role is focused on content creation and asset gathering, with deliverables, timelines, compensation, and usage rights to be outlined in a written services agreement.
Responsibilities
Capture high-quality photo and video content throughout the hotel, including guest experiences, food and beverage offerings, accommodations, amenities, seasonal activations, and on-property events
Create social-first content suitable for Instagram Reels, Stories, TikTok, and other relevant social platforms
Identify content opportunities that align with current social media trends, platform best practices, and the client’s brand standards
Execute content captures based on creative direction, shot lists, and content priorities provided by Tambourine's social media team
Organize and deliver content files by the agreed-upon deadlines and in the requested formats
Be available for mutually agreed content capture sessions, which may include occasional evenings and/or weekends
Additional deliverables or services may be added only by mutual agreement and reflected in the applicable project scope or services agreement
Compensation
Starting at $50/hour
Expected Hours
Hours will vary based on business needs and content opportunities
Approximately as needed for events, seasonal activations, and supplemental content capture
Independent Contractor Engagement
This is a freelance/independent contractor engagement, not an employment position
The selected contractor will enter into a written services agreement outlining scope, deliverables, payment terms, confidentiality, ownership and usage rights, and other applicable terms
Location & Availability
On-property content capture in New York City
Contractor must be available for mutually agreed-upon shoot dates and times
Content capture sessions may include occasional evenings, weekends, holidays, or special events, as agreed by both parties
