Job Description and Duties The Enterprise Infrastructure Security Engineer is responsible for engineering, implementing, maintaining, and operating the organization's statewide enterprise infrastructure security systems. Responsibilities include designing modern security infrastructure architecture in cloud computing environments with virtual servers, serving as the lead technical specialist in support of the organization's enterprise information security engineering and operations, acting as an architect engineer on infrastructure security projects, and mentoring, training and supporting section staff to ensure adherence to EDD's security standards and timely project completion. The role may involve a hybrid work schedule at the discretion of the department.
Qualifications Applicants must meet the Minimum Qualifications stated in the Classification Specification(s). The position requires subject matter expertise in security strategy, innovative problem‑solving, and experience in securing enterprise systems and overseeing security activities for ongoing projects.
