Counter Sales Associate We are so much more than a Parts Store and we are looking for great talent to join our NAPA family! The Counter Sales Associate is the "face of the retail store" and the go‑to person for customers when they enter our stores for all automotive needs.
What you will be doing:
Provide auto parts answers and solutions for retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter and over the phone.
Use your parts knowledge to assist other NAPA team members in answering customer questions.
Deliver outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who enters our store.
Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast‑paced stores.
Welcome retail customers into the store and engage to provide a positive experience.
Use technology (computer), cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system.

Have gained parts experience by working in the automotive industry or by tinkering with cars & trucks.
Willing to learn all things automotive if you lack a formal background.

What you'll need:
Valid driver’s license.
Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or a strong willingness to learn.
High school diploma or GED; technical or trade school courses or degree are a plus.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Enjoy fast‑paced retail environments.
Great listening skills and empathy for customers.
Preferred (not required):
Background or passion for automotive, heavy equipment, farm industry, diesel, marine, or dealership.
Experience in a parts store, auction, retail store, or auto body/collision.
Knowledge of cataloging and/or inventory management systems.
Customer‑centric mindset (external or internal).
ASE certifications.
