Job Description We are a wholesale distributor of roofing, insulation, gypsum, siding, and specialty building products. We deliver an industry‑leading portfolio of marquee brands across more than 65 distribution centers nationwide, offering same‑day and next‑day delivery to customers in the lumber and building materials industry.
POSITION SUMMARY The primary function of this position is to drive sales growth of the company’s wide array of products and services within a geographical area. The Inside Sales Specialist leverages best‑in‑class industry and product knowledge to champion the company’s value add within strategically aligned customer bases. Additionally, the ISS proactively engages with existing, new, and target customers to increase our industry and sales footprint. Daily functions include making outbound calls, processing customer orders, and preparing quotes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Proactively and consistently engage with new, existing, and potential customers to establish and build relationships.
Hunt for new business and make outbound sales including cold calls.
Sell our Core four product categories: Insulation, Roofing, Gypsum (drywall), and Siding.
Actively develop and drive strategic growth strategies to better manage relationships with customer accounts.
Utilize product knowledge and industry/geography/market awareness to successfully represent the company’s products and services.
Acquire knowledge of market conditions and competitive landscape; use this knowledge and customer relationships in competitive situations and negotiations. Sell at the highest possible price.
Act as a key point of contact for customer‑facing activities, including sales quoting, managing orders, and order confirmations.
Educate and advise customers through deep market knowledge, current market trends, changes, and challenges; become a trusted advisor.
Interact daily with the sales team to strategize on how to grow market share in combined territories.
Prepare and submit weekly sales reports.

REQUIREMENTS: EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
1 to 3 years of sales experience with demonstrated success including making outbound calls/cold calling.
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required.
Experience in the building products industry helpful.
Up to 10% travel.
Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
Ability to pass drug test and background verifications.
Must be at least 18 years of age.
Authorized to work for any employer in the US without sponsorship for any length of time.
