Key Responsibilities
Proactively generate new business through outbound cold calling, follow-up calls, and email outreach.
Manage inbound customer inquiries via phone and email, providing timely and professional responses.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with distributors, OEMs, and end users in industrial markets.
Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate products.
Prepare and deliver quotes, process sales orders, and follow through to order completion.
Collaborate with outside sales, engineering, production, and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Maintain accurate customer and opportunity records in the CRM system.
Meet or exceed individual and team sales goals, call activity targets, and achieve revenue objectives.
Participate in product training to maintain a strong understanding of hose materials, applications, and industry standards.
Travel up to
15%
for customer visits, distributor support, training, or trade shows as needed.
Required Qualifications
Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
2+ years of inside sales, customer service, or phone-based sales experience.
Comfortable with cold calling and high-volume phone communication.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to build rapport quickly and professionally with customers.
Basic proficiency with CRM systems, ERP systems, and Microsoft Office.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in industrial manufacturing, industrial hose, hydraulics, or valve and pump products.
Technical aptitude and ability to learn product specifications and applications.
