Assisting the Director of Leisure Sales and Leisure Sales Manager in servicing our clients and their guests, third party and direct bookings; maintain visibility and integrity of our department throughout the resort promoting mutual cooperation in assuring our clients are delivered the service as promised; developing a trusting and long‑term relationship with our top accounts. Responsibilities
Respond to travel agent questions and reservation inquiries. Be available to speak to clients on behalf of the Sales Manager in their absence. Prepare daily Consortia reservation reports. Conduct site inspections for potential leisure travel agents. Create estimates and quote room rates for travel agents. Develop personalized itineraries and reservations for clients. Assist with amenity and welcome note cards. Ensure marketing materials are refreshed at the concierge desk. Update Consortia’s and Travel Agent intranet sites and marketing platforms with promotions and packages. Coordinate with Reservations, Guest Relations, Front Desk, and Conference Services to meet guest needs. Qualifications
Hotel experience is highly recommended. College degree preferred. Proficiency in Excel and Word. Knowledge of Opera reservation system. Refined phone etiquette and strong written communication skills. Leisure Sales/Travel Industry experience a plus. Licensed driver preferred; able to operate vehicles such as a golf cart. Physical Requirements
Position requires sitting, walking, and giving direction most of the working day. Must be able to bend, stoop, squat, and stretch to move office supplies, set up files, and storage. Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs. on a regular basis. Requires manual dexterity to operate office equipment such as computers, printers, phone, filing cabinets, and other office equipment.
