RINA is currently recruiting for an
Integration System Engineer
to join its office in
Genoa
within the
Electronics and System Engineering
Division.
Location: Genoa, IT, 16129
Mission This role is focused on performing detailed plan and design reviews, resolving issues related to conflicting design requirements, ensuring client requirements and applicable standards are met.
Key Accountabilities
Perform detailed engineering plan review in compliance with RINA rules, international conventions and contractual requirements.
Resolve issues related to conflicting design requirements and material standards.
Perform structural assessments and provide specialist advice for service delivery, research or development work within agreed broad parameters that include budget constraints and contractual requirements.
Oversee and manage day-to-day project elements, visit sites to take measurements.
Ensure correct and up-to-date data is used and complete documentation is submitted to officials and other day-to-day duties.
Develop project schedules and deliverable timelines under the supervision of more experienced engineers.
Review project deliverables (technical reports, project performance documentations and engineering drawings, etc.).
Review progress reports and take appropriate action to ensure requirements are met.
Be aware of and understand the Quality Policy.
Ensure that all assigned activities are executed in accordance with the RINA QMS, controlling data, taking care of equipment and workstations, respecting delivery times, and addressing any issues that contribute to internal and external customer satisfaction.
Contribute to the QMS improvement in accordance with role responsibilities.
Assess complex structural problems for internal/external clients to determine solutions with minimal supervision.
Answer complex contractor questions on behalf of the supervising engineer and serve as a liaison between engineering and construction personnel.
Education Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering General or Other
Qualifications
Basic knowledge of mechanical/electrical/electromechanical/hydraulic systems.
Reading and interpretation of technical drawings.
Ability to perform risk analyses.
