We are seeking an Operator Specialist to support the Jacksonville market. As an Operator Specialist, you’ll represent our manufacturer partners by driving demand with foodservice operators while supporting Distributor Sales Representatives (DSRs) in the field. This role is focused on building strong relationships, growing territory sales, and delivering solutions that help operators succeed.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Drive territory growth by expanding and strengthening operator relationships
Increase demand for manufacturer partner products within assigned accounts
Build strong distributor partnerships to unlock new sales opportunities
Support operators with the right products, ideas, and follow‑through to grow their business
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Build and manage a pipeline of new and existing operator accounts
Meet or exceed minimum weekly operator sales call expectations
Develop and execute territory sales plans aligned to territory and market goals
Represent FSE and clients at sales meetings, food shows, and in the field
Submit weekly itineraries, expense reports, and key account updates
Ensure all CRM reporting is accurate, complete, and submitted in a timely manner
QUALIFICATIONS & TRAITS FOR SUCCESS
Foodservice industry experience required
Culinary, cooking, or restaurant operations background preferred
Prior sales experience with a track record of meeting or exceeding goals
Strong relationship‑building, communication, and presentation skills
Highly organized with the ability to manage time, territory, and priorities independently
Adaptable and responsive to evolving customer and market needs
Proficient in Excel, Outlook, and CRM systems
Valid driver’s license with the ability to travel within territory
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
Ability to stand for extended periods during food shows, demos, and other field activities.
