Performs entry software development support functions. Assists as a developer of enterprise system applications and other software development projects**Responsibilities:**The associate Software Applications Developer will serve on software development teams to create and support web-based applications. Performs entry software development support functions.- Assists clients and co-workers to define application requirements. Identifies programming and output needs.- Assists in and verifies preliminary design and output, and recommends technical and procedural design for new or revised applications including flow charts, system specifications, programming guidelines, and code review.- Assists in reviewing, modifying, and writing program code and job control language.- Assists in writing documentation of system procedures and guidelines for application users as well as for programs and program modifications.- Assists with testing of complex programs, program modifications, or applications.- Answers questions and provides technical assistance and training to application users. Resolves problems by reviewing and analyzing software documentation and production outputs to identify causes, solutions, and make appropriate referrals.- Performs other related duties as assigned.**Education and Experience:**
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- No experience required.**Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:**- Knowledge of web site development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
- Knowledge of SQL Server or other relational databases.
- Knowledge of object-oriented development (e.g. C#, ASP.NET or PHP) applied in a web environment.- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.- Occasional work outside of normal office hours/weekends- Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others.**Preferred Qualifications:**- Experience with web site development with HTML, CSS and JavaScript.
