What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)
Facilitate discovery sessions and working groups with various stakeholders to identify and prioritize business needs
Document and maintain current and future-state process flows, identifying opportunities for simplification and improvement
Translate stakeholder needs into clear functional documentation, including business requirements and process flows
Partner with product and technology teams to clarify requirements and validate that changes meet business intent
Plan and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) by defining scenarios and coordinating business testers
What Is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role supporting technological initiatives, preferably in insurance or financial services
Hands-on insurance experience in policy administration and insurance operations
Knowledge of property and casualty insurance processes, including underwriting and policy servicing
Strong facilitation and documentation skills, including process mapping and requirements traceability
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration across teams
How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
CPCU or other insurance designation; CBAP and/or PMP certification
Experience with configurable insurance or enterprise platforms supporting business configuration needs
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Demonstrated success in driving functional outcomes through stakeholder alignment and operational readiness
