What You Will Be Doing
In this role within the master data management team, you will oversee the creation and maintenance of high-quality material master data in SAP and related systems. You will collaborate with internal teams and IT support to resolve data issues and implement process improvements. You will also support small data-related projects, monitor operational metrics, and contribute to audit and training documentation. This position is a 6-month contract, offering opportunities to impact global business processes and support operational excellence. Key Responsibilities
Develop and maintain accurate master data in SAP and ancillary systems such as IRD and Product360. Analyze and resolve material master data issues proactively to ensure data integrity. Identify opportunities for process enhancements by investigating data management practices and incorporating improvements into procedures. Collaborate with IT support teams to implement system enhancements and troubleshoot production issues. Participate in or lead small projects focused on data quality, workflow optimization, or system upgrades. Monitor key operational metrics related to data timeliness and accuracy, supporting internal controls and compliance. Document process changes and update training materials to reflect best practices. Partner with stakeholders across various departments including Commercial, Product Supply, Finance, and Global teams to meet operational needs. Required Skills & Experience
1-3+ years of experience working with master data management, ERP systems, or supply chain data. Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent working experience. Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to multiple processes with high accuracy. Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on delivering precise results. Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data. Effective communication skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders. Capable of translating real-world product and business scenarios into accurate data entries and reports. High level of self-motivation and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Proficiency with SAP or similar ERP systems; experience with Integrated Reference Data (IRD) or Product360 is a plus. Educational background with a High School Diploma or higher, and relevant certifications preferred. Desired Skills & Experience
Knowledge of breeding, agriculture, or biotechnology industry practices. Experience with ERP data governance, data management, or supply chain data projects. Familiarity with managing large data sets within complex database systems. Exposure to process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean is a plus. Pay
$25.20 – $36.00 /hr EEO Statement
