Part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP), this role focuses on working with strategic security Independent Software Vendors (ISVs), building joint solutions that help customers meet their security objectives in AWS.
25% travel is required.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a trusted technical advisor to partner engineering and service teams such as AWS Private Cloud (VPC), IAM, KMS, GuardDuty, Security Lake, WAF.
Partner with the business development and partner management team to ensure customer success on AWS.
Provide thought leadership on security solutions through external publications, blogs, white‑papers and public presentations at conferences and industry events.
Contribute to the worldwide AWS technical community as a Solution Architect, support, and business development member.
Evangelize partner value propositions internally across AWS and externally with customers.
Establish AWS as the partner’s preferred cloud platform for regulated workloads.
Build executive and senior management relationships within partner organizations.
Deliver architectural guidance and recommendations to promote successful engagements with software partners worldwide.
Support the AWS Independent Software Vendor (ISV) Partners team in defining and delivering the overall go‑to‑market strategy for the segment.
Basic Qualifications
2+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
4+ years of experience in a technology domain such as software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, infrastructure, security, networking, data & analytics.
6+ years of IT development or implementation/consulting experience in the software or Internet industries.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within software development or Internet‑related industries.
Experience migrating or transforming legacy customer solutions to the cloud.
Experience working with AWS technologies from a dev‑ops perspective.
Compensation and Benefits Salary ranges by location:
San Francisco, CA – $151,000 to $204,300 annually
New York, NY – $144,500 to $195,400 annually
Austin, TX – $131,300 to $177,600 annually
Arlington, VA – $131,300 to $177,600 annually
Seattle, WA – $131,300 to $177,600 annually

Additional sign‑on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs) are part of the overall compensation package.
