I & A Agave Spirits is a Texas rooted company building a portfolio of authentic, additive free agave spirits in partnership with traditional Mexican distilleries. Today our portfolio includes Socorro Tequila, Soledad Tequila, Casa Lujo Tequila, and Jalisco Liqueur, and every brand is built the same way, with respect for the land, the hands that craft it, and the communities connected to every bottle. We are relationship first, quality obsessed, and committed to giving back through The Spirit of Socorro, our long term platform supporting clean water, children, and agave communities. We are growing across our strategic markets and beyond, and we are looking for people who want to help us build it the right way. The Role
We are looking for someone to bring Socorro to life through high-impact, experiential sales across the Texas hospitality and events world. This is a sales role for someone who loves hospitality, lights up in a room full of people, and wants to put Socorro into the hands of the people shaping the best gatherings in the state. You will be the face of Socorro with a focused set of high value accounts and event partners statewide, building real relationships, creating memorable on-site experiences, and identifying opportunities to activate the brand at major happenings across Texas. We keep the specifics of our account strategy close, so we will walk you through the full picture during the interview process. Based in Houston, with travel across Texas. You don't need years of spirits experience. You need curiosity, hustle, and a real love for people and hospitality. We'll teach you the rest. What You'll Do
Own your channel:
Build and grow Socorro’s presence within a defined set of high value accounts across Texas. Build relationships:
Develop deep, lasting relationships with the decision makers behind your accounts, from beverage directors and GMs to executive chefs and owners. Bring Socorro to life on site:
Show up at events to pour, present, and represent the brand. You set the tone in the room and you make guests fall in love with what’s in the glass. Educate and inspire:
Lead trainings, tastings, and storytelling sessions for account teams so they can pour Socorro with confidence when you are not in the room. Create experiences worth talking about:
Plan and execute on site activations including tastings, agave education moments, branded bar builds, seasonal programming, and signature cocktail features. Listen, learn, and report back:
Gather market intel, competitive activity, partner feedback, and emerging trends. Track visits, trainings, events worked, and new accounts opened so we can see what is working and double down. Who You Are
Hospitality or sales experience is a plus, but not required. If you’ve worked in catering, restaurants, bars, hotels, or anywhere people gather to eat and drink well, we want to talk. You know your market. You know where the best parties happen and which rooms in your city matter. You are genuinely passionate about agave spirits and curious about what makes great tequila great. You light up around people. Nights, weekends, and event hours don’t scare you, they energize you. You love being the host as much as the guest. You are organized and self‑directed. Nobody is going to micromanage your calendar; you own your week. You are comfortable using technology to track your work (CRM, depletion data, basic Excel, shared docs). You will join a tight knit familia where you'll have ownership, visibility, and real influence on how we grow. You have a valid driver’s license and are willing to travel across Texas, often in the evenings and weekends. You are 21+ and can legally work with and around alcohol in Texas. What We Offer
