Location: Sacramento County, 1416 9th Street, Sacramento, CA 95814
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday (Hybrid Telework)
Job Description & Duties As an Information Technology Specialist I, you will provide strong technical leadership as a lead developer responsible for the implementation, maintenance, and upgrade of the Current Employment Statistics (CES) automated system, Labor Market Information website, SQL databases, and other internally developed systems. Your duties will include:
Performing complex technical analysis and configuration activities in support of highly critical transaction processing activities.
Providing root cause analysis of system issues, accurately identifying incidents or defects, and determining efficient and effective methods to restore full functionality.
Working on service requests, initiatives, and projects, learning the business processes each application supports and how the application functions.
Contributing to the growth of the Information Technology Branch into a customer‑focused service organization by following branch cultural principles and providing constructive feedback.
