Jans Enterprises, a leading food and beverage importer and distributor founded in 1998, is hiring an Inside Sales Representative to join our Account Management and Business Development team in El Monte, CA. This is a full-time, on-site role ideal for a sales professional with strong Lead Generation, Customer Service, and CRM skills who wants to grow within an established, expanding distribution company.
For over 25 years, Jans Enterprises has supplied grocery retailers, distributors, and e-commerce partners nationwide with a diverse portfolio spanning beverages, dairy, and snacks — including several exclusive U.S. distribution partnerships and a growing proprietary brand lineup. As we expand into new retail channels, we're investing in our Inside Sales team to drive that growth.
Key Responsibilities
Generate and qualify new leads through outbound calling, email outreach, and inbound inquiry response
Manage and grow a portfolio of existing B2B accounts, ensuring high customer satisfaction and retention
Build strong client relationships through consistent, proactive communication
Maintain accurate CRM records and pipeline reporting to support sales forecasting
Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Logistics, and Marketing to resolve account issues
Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities across our product catalog
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets
A Note on Our Product Catalog Jans carries 600+ SKUs across multiple categories—a complex, high-variety catalog that rewards curiosity and depth over simple memorization. We provide structured onboarding and hands‑on product training over your first 60–90 days, with ongoing support from senior team members. The ideal candidate is energized by variety and enjoys becoming a go‑to product expert — not someone looking for a narrow, repetitive role.
Qualifications
1+ years of experience in Inside Sales, Account Management, or Lead Generation, with a track record of meeting sales targets
Strong Customer Service and relationship‑building skills
Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar)
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to manage a multi-account pipeline independently
Experience in food & beverage, CPG, or wholesale distribution strongly preferred
Bilingual (Spanish or Mandarin) a plus
High school diploma required; bachelor's degree preferred
