Air Reserve Technician

The primary purpose of this position is an Air Reserve Technician (ART) providing direct support to the Senior ART by accomplishing a variety of duties relating to program management activities for all aspects of medical readiness administration. Functions as the Unit Deployment Manager; ensures assigned personnel are qualified to meet Air Expeditionary Force requirements and deployment readiness standards. Additionally, provides training to reserve personnel in the accomplishment of tasks set forth herein.

Duties:

• Develops, plans and conducts training and evaluations needed to assess squadron readiness, mobility, and deployment requirements.
• Plans, organizes, and oversees all unit level deployment activities.
• Performs analysis activities. Performs STR administrative duties for the organization.
• Provides technical guidance and recommendations to senior leadership regarding unit deployment program.
• Ensures personnel and equipment readiness.
