Dental Assistant (DA) or Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA) – Part-Time – Hygiene Assisting

Competitive Pay: $25–$35/hour, Based on Experience
DA: $25-$30/hour | EFDA $30-$35/hour

Schedule:

• Part-time: 2 days per week
• (8-hour shifts)
• Room to grow!
• No weekends

Dental Assistant

• Assist Hygienists during patient visits
• Take x-rays and intraoral photos
• Review and update medical histories
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-op care
• Set up, break down, and sterilize operatories and instruments
• Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environment

Expanded Functions Dental Assistant's Responsibilities:

• Primarily assist the hygienist during hygiene visits
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
• Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
• Take dental x-rays
• EFDA duties & restorations at times

• EFDA applicants: Active Pennsylvania EFDA license required
• Dental Assistant applicants: Current X-ray certification required
• Organized, reliable, and team-oriented
• Strong communication skills
