About The Role As Regional Sales Manager, you will be responsible for managing and growing relationships with distributors and OEM customers across your assigned region, while identifying new opportunities to expand CEJN’s market presence. You’ll also be responsible for providing distributors with product training, technical support, and sales resources. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and robust experience in key account management or distribution sales. This role is based out of Houston, TX, and reports directly to the President of CEJN North America. Travel of up to 50% is to be expected.
Your responsibilities include:
Manage and strengthen relationships with existing distributors and key customers
Identify and establish new OEM customers to expand CEJN’s market reach
Drive regional sales targets and performance goals
Conduct regular face‑to‑face customer and distributor visits to support sales efforts and resolve issues
Provide product training, technical guidance, and sales support to distributors and customers
Act as the regional link between the US sales branch and CEJN headquarters
Develop and execute regional market action plans
Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., marketing, product management) to provide distributors with relevant tools and resources
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to identify risks and opportunities
Uphold company values, mission, and vision
What We Expect from You Your Work Experience, Education, Skills:
A bachelor’s degree is preferred
Min. 5 years of experience in key account management or distributor sales, preferably in hydraulic systems and/or compressed air and wind power & energy segments
Technical background in hydraulics and high‑pressure hydraulic systems, compressed air, and industrial components is highly preferred
Strong ability to build long‑term customer and distributor relationships
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently while managing multiple accounts and priorities
Proficiency in MS Office 365 suite and various business software (e.g., ERP, CRM)
