Oversee all aspects of custodial and facility support operations across assigned schools or campus locations
Ensure consistent delivery of services in accordance with contracts, scope of work, and ABM standards
Develop and execute operational plans to meet service, quality, and efficiency goals
Monitor key performance metrics and implement improvement strategies
Client Relationship ManagementServe as the primary point of contact for district leadership, administrators, and key stakeholders
Build strong, long-term client relationships and ensure high levels of satisfaction
Lead regular business reviews and provide performance updates, reporting, and insights
Proactively address concerns, resolve issues, and identify opportunities for expanded services
Financial PerformanceManage account budget, including labor, supplies, and equipment costs
Ensure financial targets are met or exceeded (revenue, margin, cost control)
Analyze financial reports and adjust operations to improve profitability
Support forecasting, billing accuracy, and contract compliance
Team Leadership & DevelopmentLead, develop, and support Supervisors and frontline teams across the account
Drive recruiting, onboarding, and retention strategies
Conduct performance management, coaching, and succession planning
Foster an inclusive, safety-focused, and high-performance culture
Quality Assurance & ComplianceImplement and monitor quality assurance programs and inspection processes
Ensure compliance with safety standards, OSHA regulations, and ABM policies
Enforce proper use of equipment, chemicals, and PPE
Maintain adherence to school district policies and regulatory requirements
Strategic Growth & ImprovementIdentify operational efficiencies and continuous improvement opportunities
Partner with leadership on innovation, sustainability, and service enhancements
Support contract renewals, scope
QualificationsBachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of management experience in facilities, custodial, or service-related industry
Demonstrated leadership experience managing multiple locations or large teams
Strong financial acumen and budget management experience
Excellent communication, client-facing, and problem-solving skills
Preferred
Experience managing K-12 or higher education accounts
Knowledge of custodial operations, floor care, and industry best practices
Bilingual (Spanish/English) preferred
Experience in union environments (if applicable)
Physical RequirementsAbility to walk sites, perform inspections, and occasionally lift up to 4050 pounds
Capability to support operations in a hands-on environment when needed
Work EnvironmentSchool campuses, administrative offices, and multiple facility locations
Interaction with students, educators, and staff in a professional and service-oriented manner
May require flexible hours, including evenings or weekends
