Position Overview Green Waste Recycle Yard is seeking a Sales & Operations Manager to lead customer sales, business development, daily operations, and team coordination at its Richmond based facility (see greenwasterecycleyard dot com). This is a sales‑focused leadership position particularly well suited for someone who has worked with residential and commercial contractors, landscape designers/architects, with lumber or a sawmill, or for a recent graduate student who would like to try their hand at running an entire division alone. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing customer relationships, managing incoming opportunities, preparing estimates and proposals, and growing product sales while overseeing daily operations across the yard.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable meeting with customers, managing projects, coordinating logistics, solving operational challenges, and leading employees in a fast‑paced environment. This position is the sole point‑person for both revenue generation and day‑to‑day business operations, including direct management of operators, drivers, mechanics, and yard staff.
About the Company Green Waste Recycle Yard is a full‑service green waste recycling facility, urban sawmill, and landscape materials supplier located in Richmond, California. Together, our organizations provide a unique closed‑loop approach to urban wood utilization by transforming locally salvaged trees into recycled landscape products, lumber, and specialty wood products while supporting sustainable land management practices throughout the region.
