Key Responsibilities
Create and modify artwork for custom printed boxes, packaging, labels, and related products.
Prepare production-ready files that meet printing, color, and die-line specifications.
Develop packaging layouts, mockups, proofs, and visual concepts based on customer requirements.
Review customer-supplied artwork for print compatibility and production feasibility.
Collaborate directly with printing machine operators to ensure artwork is properly aligned with press capabilities and production requirements.
Adjust graphics, color separations, trapping, and print settings to optimize print quality.
Generate and manage digital proofs for customer approval.
Maintain accurate records of artwork revisions, approvals, and production files.
Troubleshoot artwork and print quality issues during production runs.
Ensure compliance with brand standards, customer specifications, and company quality requirements.
Assist with continuous improvement efforts to reduce setup times, artwork errors, and production delays.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or related field preferred.
2+ years of graphic design experience, preferably in packaging, corrugated manufacturing, printing, or commercial print environments.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
Experience creating artwork for flexographic, digital, or offset printing processes preferred.
Strong understanding of color management, prepress preparation, and print production workflows.
Ability to read and interpret die-lines, packaging specifications, and customer artwork requirements.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with production personnel and customers.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Preferred Skills
Knowledge of corrugated packaging and box manufacturing processes.
Understanding of flexographic printing and color matching processes.
Familiarity with ERP or workflow management systems used in manufacturing environments.

Reduction in artwork-related production delays and press downtime.
High customer satisfaction with design quality and proof accuracy.
