About The Role As our Technical Content Writer you will create clear and engaging content across marketing materials, blog articles, sales collaterals, product and operational documentation, FAQs, social media, and other formats. You must be able to explain complex information clearly and practically, and you will become an expert on our product, leveraging a curiosity about finance and FinTech.
We believe content is a core part of our product and expect you to apply product development methods. You will build and own a content engine that combines user research, writing, feedback, and iteration.
Location: In‑person in San Francisco or Remote
About The Team You’ll work directly with company leadership, financial advisors, their clients, and other internal teams to shape how sophisticated financial concepts and operational details are communicated to the market. We’re a small, highly collaborative team that values ownership, curiosity, execution quality, and rapid iteration.
About You
Exceptional writing skills and proven ability to turn complex ideas into clear, engaging content.
Experience in product and project management, especially structuring and managing the Discovery–Development–Feedback–Iteration cycle.
Natural curiosity, enjoyment of learning new industries, and quick acquisition of expertise in highly technical subject matter.
Based in the United States and excited to work remotely with a fast‑growing startup.
What You’ll Do
Collaborate cross‑functionally with go‑to‑market teams, engineering, and operations to learn and stay up‑to‑date about SyntheticFi product features and procedures.
Learn complex financial products and translate them into clear, engaging content.
Create content across multiple channels, including newsletters, blogs, social media, product documentation, video tutorials, FAQs, etc.
Lead and manage the content development cycle; partner with external users and internal stakeholders to discover what content is required, develop it, gather feedback, and continuously improve.
Conduct user research to identify content opportunities.
Own the full content lifecycle from research and planning to writing, publishing, and optimization.
Leverage AI design tools (e.g., Claude, Canva) to accelerate content production while maintaining quality and accuracy.
Must‑Haves
Exceptional writing and communication skills.
Proven ability to distill complex topics into clear, concise, and engaging content.
Ability to quickly ramp on complex financial concepts and develop sufficient domain expertise to produce technically accurate content.
Experience executing the Discovery–Development–Feedback–Iteration cycle and owning that process end‑to‑end.
Strong portfolio demonstrating real content production experience across both long‑form and short‑form formats.
Willingness to learn and leverage AI tools to enhance research, design, and execution while maintaining ownership of quality and accuracy.
Produces content that sounds thoughtful, human, and authentic, not generic or AI‑generated.
Nice to Have
Experience in financial services / FinTech / WealthTech, or the financial advisor ecosystem.
Experience with large information architecture projects.
Experience working in hyperscaling startups.
Experience with SEO, GEO, and content optimization.

Compensation:
Base Salary: $85,000 – $100,000
Bonus: 10% of base salary
Equity: 0.05% – 0.10%
Candidates must already be authorized to work in the United States. We may support continued work authorization for existing H‑1B or O‑1 holders, but we do not sponsor initial U‑S work authorization.
