Job Overview American Transportation Services has an immediate opening for a qualified trailer/tractor technician. Qualified candidates must be a self‑starter with the ability to work remotely with little to no supervision. We provide a friendly and stable work environment primarily focused on day shift hours M‑F.
Location:
382 East Nashville, TN
Responsibilities
Perform FAI and state required inspections.
Inspect and repair "S" cam air brake systems.
Diagnose and repair anti‑lock brake systems.
Perform repairs to commercial trailers and converter dollies in all potential aspects.
Use Cummins Insight diagnostic software.
Perform minor body work as needed.
Qualifications
1‑3 years of experience as a mechanic.
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing switchers, trailers, and converter dollies.
Qualified to perform state and federal inspections.
