Overview
Collins Aerospace Vision and Sensor Systems Electrical Engineering is responsible for all electrical engineering activities related to the design, analysis, testing, and certification of aerospace Head‑Up Displays, Helmet‑Mounted Displays, and Avionics Vision Systems for both commercial and military applications. This position focuses on digital hardware, with an emphasis on the design, implementation, and testing of complex digital circuit cards featuring high‑speed data links. Responsibilities
Design high‑reliability electronic circuits for commercial and military avionics. Define and capture requirements for new hardware designs using enterprise tools such as Jama. Perform preliminary design activities, including hardware architecture development and design trade studies. Conduct detailed design activities such as circuit analysis and schematic creation. Provide technical oversight and coordination for circuit card layout. Perform functional testing and integration of circuit card prototypes. Design and build integration support equipment. Support electrical qualification testing. Support manufacturing during early unit builds. Provide oversight and guidance to less‑experienced electrical designers. Qualifications
Typically requires a degree in STEM and minimum 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree and minimum 3 years of experience. Experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition Design and Layout. Digital board design experience with multi‑gigabit serial links. Benefits

Salary range: $86,800 – $165,200 USD. EEO Statement
