District Sales Manager – Remote (Minnesota, Iowa, Nebraska). This individual contributor role reports to the Regional Vice President of Sales and focuses on building and expanding relationships with producers of profitable business across three states. Responsibilities
Develop a strategic territory plan by identifying and meeting with prospective agents regarding ProAg’s insurance offerings. Drive additional business through agency visits, social events, trade shows, and correspondence. Meet or exceed sales goals for both existing and new business within Minnesota, while maintaining a database of current and prospective agents. Serve as a primary relationship owner, trusted advisor, and point of contact for assigned agent accounts to help them grow and manage their business. Become a subject‑matter expert on ProAg’s products, business, and applications and stay up‑to‑date on industry trends. Gain and maintain a clear understanding of Crop Insurance and ProAg’s Standard Reinsurance Agreement. Monitor competitor and industry trends to identify changes in the marketplace. Collaborate with internal resources to prepare for and deliver training or educational events with regional training staff on ProAg programs, products, and technology. Ensure compliance with organizational policies and government regulations. Perform other relevant duties and projects assigned. Travel
Required to travel outside the normal work location; travel is up to 75% of time. Qualifications
At least two years of sales experience; crop insurance experience preferred. Exceptional communicator with ability to facilitate cross‑functionally and ensure clear, expeditious communication. Knowledge of industry changes, legal updates, and technical developments related to applicable business areas to proactively respond to a changing business environment. Ability to work independently, focus on achieving organizational goals and tasks with drive and energy. Demonstrated ability to build trust and relationships with key constituencies. Compensation
Pay range: $75,000 – $95,000, including geographic adjustments where applicable. Additional compensation will be based on geographic location, qualifications, work experience, education, and/or skill level. Benefits
