Responsible for a specific location’s inside sales and sales support personnel who work directly with various sales units, their management teams and company business owners. Lead large-scale customer-facing projects involving cross-team collaboration with critical deadlines. Provide support to the Implementation Director or other business owners on projects as needed. Define the components and resources required to complete the project. Develop a timeline that states start and finish dates. Facilitate and/or perform work that needs to be completed according to the timeline. Update the Business Owner and Implementation Director regularly on the progress of the project. File and manage an issues list for each project, defining roadblocks of the project. Knowledge of SMART system and EDI. Willingness to travel as needed. Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisory personnel. Coach, counsel and develop team members to achieve timely goals, develop their careers and provide feedback as needed. Train and develop staff, and delegate responsibilities to maximize potential. Apply strategic planning to determine company, department and unit objectives. Serve as backup for the Sales Operations Analyst with weekly, monthly or ad-hoc reporting, bonus calculations and other sales team support as needed. Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience. Five or more years transportation experience required. Five or more years customer service experience required. Three or more years personnel management experience required. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize, coordinate and delegate multiple tasks simultaneously. Skill in planning and time management. Ability to have a flexible work schedule and work extended hours as needed. Aptitude for learning high-level technology terms and processes. Ability to understand account profitability. Ability to lead teams and/or step into a supervisory role as required for a project. Knowledge of SMART system and EDI. Performance management, project management, supervision, coaching, quality management, and fostering teamwork. Benefits
