Overview We are currently seeking Health Screeners to join our team in New York City, New York. eHealthScreenings, a Premise Health Company, specializes in national biometric screenings and we have exciting opportunities for
Mobile Phlebotomists
and Health Screeners.
These positions are as-needed opportunities and offer flexibility in scheduling and highly competitive pay. We send you out to local companies within your area to perform health screenings for the employees of the companies.
Compensation Estimated compensation for the posted area is $27–$32 an hour. Geographic location, role at the event, and other factors will also be considered.
What Makes You Successful Strong customer service skills, previous venipuncture and/or fingerstick experience, ability to use a manual blood pressure cuff, tech savviness, and excellent communication skills.
Essential Job Functions
Perform and record biometric testing results including height, weight, blood pressure, body fat, and BMI
Conduct blood testing including fingerstick and/or venipuncture in a fast‑paced environment
Prepare specimens for storage or additional processing
Set up and break down portable blood draw/biometric stations
Transport supplies to and from health screening events (lifting up to 20 lbs.)
Maintain logs and records for all laboratory transactions and information in accordance with regulatory requirements
Have morning availability (Monday‑Friday) for event‑based employment
Perform other duties as assigned
Education
Minimum high school diploma or GED
Current national certification in phlebotomy from a Premise Health approved organization OR
Certificate/Diploma and transcripts from an accredited phlebotomy program with hands‑on externship completed
Over 100 successful fingersticks within the last year OR a minimum of 200 successful venipuncture blood draws within the last 6 months
Active state‑specific phlebotomy certification required for candidates performing phlebotomy in NV, CA, WA, and LA
Experience
1 year of health screening or phlebotomy experience preferred
Knowledge and Skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Punctual, responsible, and able to work with limited supervision
Professional demeanor and appearance
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
Proof of professional credentialing
Availability for PRN, event‑driven positions
Pass a full background check
Reliable transportation
Computer/internet savvy
Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred
