Description The Digital Content Specialist (DCS) reports to the Digital Content Manager. This role supports the manager by collaborating with digital content analysts and focusing on content management and syndication needs. The DCS will capture, organize, and upload client content to syndication platforms, troubleshoot content publication issues between retailers and the syndication provider, and serve as the subject‑matter expert on the CROSSMARK syndication process. Specialists must become certified users of key content management and syndication platforms and develop expertise across each retailer’s specifications for every content attribute, including photography, video, copywriting, and graphics. The role also includes additional administrative duties as required.
Responsibilities
Support the content management and syndication process by organizing and uploading all content attributes and files to the platform, ensuring all updates are published and live on each retailer’s site.
Trouble‑shoot and resolve errors by diagnosing functional, systematic, or process issues and delivering solutions to ensure any failed content becomes live.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with team members and internal partners to foster a collaborative and dynamic approach to services.
Act as a CM&S SME to influence and support solutions that help meet client needs, ensuring business commitments and objectives are met.
Participate in training and development, including all CROSSMARK–mandated training courses, to learn new tools, systems, and processes.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum Education and Work Experience: Bachelor’s degree preferred in a relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Working knowledge of retail enterprise systems and web‑based software platforms.
Understanding of core eCommerce concepts, workflows, and terminology.
Strong coordination and project management skills, including planning, prioritization, and follow‑through.
Effective written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to partner across internal teams.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
