Responsibilities The incumbent is responsible for the planning, installation, configuration, testing, implementation and management of the systems environment to support the agency's IT architecture and business needs. They provide AOC‑wide support for the network infrastructure, servers, and offer Tier‑3 support for desktop, mobile, and printer endpoints.
Qualifications You must meet the United States Office of Personnel Management's (OPM) qualification requirements (including specialized experience and/or educational requirements) for the advertised position. You must meet all eligibility and qualifications requirements by the closing date of the job announcement. Additional information on the qualification requirements is outlined in the OPM Qualifications Standards Handbook of General Schedule Positions.
Specialized experience: candidates must have at least 52 weeks of specialized experience equivalent to the GS‑13 grade level in the Federal service, including experience performing program management tasks such as:
Planning and developing program goals and objectives for the full lifecycle of IT services;
Project planning and management—developing, scheduling, coordinating and managing projects and resources, monitoring and inspecting costs, work and contractor performance;
Providing oversight for the delivery of various hardware and software solutions to meet operating needs.
In addition to the specialized experience, applicants must have IT‑related experience demonstrating each of the following four competencies:

– works with clients and customers to assess their needs, provide information or assistance, resolve problems, or satisfy expectations; knowing about available products and services; committed to providing quality products and services.

– identifies problems; determines accuracy and relevance of information; uses sound judgment to generate and evaluate alternatives, and to make recommendations.
