We are looking for a man or women to join our team. Must be an experienced auto technician with no less than 2 years' experience. A Virginia state inspection license is a plus, as well as wheel alignment experience. Trans Tech Towing Auto is a full-service garage. We are interested in hiring 1, possibly 2 new team members. Looking for a well-rounded auto and or diesel technician. Responsibilities: Repair customer trucks, cars, RV's and trailers Perform routine vehicle maintenance Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to our driver or the customer Maintain equipment records Skills VA state inspection is a bonus Experience changing, mounting and balancing tires Alignment experience is a bonus Welding-A plus A/C-must be certified Exhaust experience Engine & transmission replacement and flush Belts, alternator, battery, Brakes & rotors Radiator/Coolant repair. Troubleshoot and diagnostics Diesel repair-A plus Requirements: Good driving record Previous experience as an auto mechanic Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen Must have own tools Must have good attendance Knowledge of shop equipment Self-motivated Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills Deadline and detail-oriented Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment Schedule: Opening available immediately Monday to Friday 8 am to 5 pm No Weekends Benefits: Vacation 6 Paid Holidays Employee SIMPLE IRA 3% match Company SIMPLE IRA Health/Dental/Vision Insurance Paid uniforms Some of these benefits may require a probationary period Pay will be based on knowledge and experience.
