Possible Requirements
Minimum
2 years of Sterile Processing experience Current
Sterile Processing Technician Certification IAHCSMM/HSPA Registration
required High School Diploma or equivalent Fluent in spoken and written English Strong communication, organization, and critical-thinking skills Job Duties
Decontamination of medical instruments and equipment Sterilization and processing of surgical and medical supplies Maintaining sterile inventory Following infection-control policies and procedures Working in different areas of the Sterile Processing Department as needed
