Position Overview Senior LIMS Business Analyst – join our team to implement a Starlims LPH product used for testing environmental and clinical samples. This role focuses on application discovery, training, requirements gathering, and QA testing.
VA State experience is highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with application discovery, training, and support for laboratory users.
Gather and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and business process analysis.
Identify opportunities for process improvement or automation within laboratory workflows.
Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and user stories for LIMS and web portals.
Validate Starlims configuration and support quality assurance activities.
Collaborate with stakeholders to manage expectations and provide regular updates.
Analyze laboratory data to provide insights and support decision‑making.
Create documentation for business requirements, functional specifications, and solution designs.
Qualifications
5+ years of experience with LIMS implementation.
5+ years of analytical problem‑solving experience.
10+ years experience in laboratory environments or supporting laboratory systems.
Familiarity with system development life cycle methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
Strong skills with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel), Visio, and DevOps tools.
Preferred Experience
Experience with Starlims LPH configuration.
Experience in laboratory testing (clinical or environmental bench work).
Experience in requirements gathering, use‑case creation, and execution.
