Inside Sales Specialist
to help build something great from the ground up. In this role, you won’t just support sales—you’ll be a key player in shaping the success of a new location. Working closely with our Outside Sales team, you’ll help expand our reach, strengthen customer relationships, and drive plumbing, pump, wastewater, and septic product sales in a fast‑paced, team‑oriented environment. Responsibilities
Collaborate with Outside Sales associates to understand customers' requirements and provide suitable product recommendations and solutions.
Deliver exceptional customer service by promptly preparing and submitting accurate quotations and submittals, ensuring personalized attention to each customer's needs.
Coordinate closely with the warehouse team to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely deliveries, demonstrating efficiency in meeting customer expectations.
Serve as a point of contact for sales inquiries, addressing and resolving customer concerns or questions professionally and promptly.
Maintain meticulous records of sales transactions, ensuring accurate documentation of products sold and any additional administrative duties associated with each sale.
Take ownership of account management activities, fostering strong client relationships, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.
Collaborate with the outside salesperson to increase plumbing product sales and participate in joint sales calls.
Provide quotes for customers by collaborating with the outside salesperson.
Process purchases and transfers as needed while communicating with the purchaser.
Regularly contribute to the sales team and provide countersales support.
Integrate and train existing employees on plumbing‑related products and standard operating procedures.
Assist customers with the selection and application of residential and agricultural pump systems, wastewater products, and on‑site septic treatment solutions.
Provide technical support and product recommendations related to Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), pumping systems, and water management applications.
Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to develop effective solutions for water, wastewater, and septic system applications.
Qualifications & Requirements
High school diploma/GED or equivalent education required. Associate’s Degree (A.A.) from a two‑year college or university plus four or more years of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination, is preferred.
Two years of plumbing sales experience is preferred.
Strong customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain long‑term customer relationships.
Prior experience in Sales or Customer Service Industry with an ability to negotiate and understanding of marketing skills.
Knowledge of Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), including product applications and troubleshooting, is preferred.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, result‑driven environment by meeting and exceeding all goals and targets.
Experience with wastewater systems and on‑site septic treatment products and solutions is highly desirable.
Excellent negotiation skills.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment.
Detail‑oriented and organized with strong time‑management skills.
Team player with the ability to work independently when needed.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing customer needs and industry dynamics.
Ability to work as part of a team and autonomously.
Highly competitive sales skills with a desire to contribute to a winning team/organization.
Knowledge of residential and agricultural groundwater systems.
Knowledge of booster pumps and centrifugals.

Physical Requirements
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear.
Prolonged periods of standing or sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Specific vision abilities required: distance vision, peripheral vision, and depth perception.
Environmental Conditions
The employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions.
Occasionally, the employee may be exposed to high, precarious places and vibration.
The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
