Minimum Qualifications
Incumbent must display advanced business and personnel acumen, gather and analyze business data to make strategic business decisions, and possess an understanding of the financial impact of recommendations.
Sales or Commercial experience required.
Lubricant sales experience preferred.
Must be located near a major airport.
The minimum number of years of job-related experience required by this job is a Bachelor's Degree and 12 years of experience.
MBA is preferred.
Job Duties
Develop and implement a region strategic plan, region operating expense budget, and region performance measures. Recognize region opportunities and facilitate an action plan to optimize and grow volume and profits.
Manage, develop and facilitate responsibilities and activities of direct reports, including Senior Account Managers and Inside Sales Managers. Conduct performance evaluations and provide oversight on hiring, promotion, termination and disciplinary actions.
Oversee, coach, motivate and provide training to direct reports for continuous development, professional growth, and leadership skills. Provide oversight and guidance of SAMs' individual sales plans and their implementation.
Communicate industry trends, activities, competitive information, and recommendations to pertinent CITGO management groups.
Provide timely, routine field support with Senior Account Managers in a consult role to optimize business solutions to CITGO customers. Work with SAMs to enhance the recognition of CITGO's family of brands as the preferred supplier of lubricants.
Possess above‑average computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft, Salesforce CRM, Excel, SAP and other related programs. Manage administrative duties and region communications.
Facilitate, coordinate, and resolve region issues internally and externally.
Manage current CITGO programs. Develop and initiate new programs and services related to CITGO's short‑ and long‑term goals. Oversee the use of company assets and financial resources.
Ensure corporate international requirements are met by the marketer segment.
