We are currently hiring a
Mobile Technician Leader
to join our management team and support future growth. The role calls for strong leadership, technical expertise, and a passion for operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Lead a team of 15+ technicians, providing guidance and delivering company results.
Conduct one‑on‑one coaching and mentoring sessions with direct reports to foster development and problem resolution.
Retrieve, review, and monitor metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, and training or safety records to analyze team productivity and recommend improvements.
Travel frequently to technician and customer locations.
Participate in or lead regular meetings with market team members across dispatch, parts, billing, and other functions.
Monitor operations to ensure compliance with administrative, DOT, safety, environmental, and government regulations.
Perform onboarding activities for technicians, including equipment requests, form completion, and system access.
Conduct safety audits and Quality Control Inspections (QCIs).
Assist in developing or adhering to a monthly budget.
Coordinate with market, dispatch, and sales teams to set goals and strategies for productivity improvements.
Delegate work to technicians during unscheduled repair calls and coordinate internally.
Facilitate regular safety meetings to reinforce safety culture.
Implement and monitor safety processes and procedures.
Provide technical advice to management, subordinates, or customers on systems or process matters.
Collaborate with customers to meet vehicle maintenance requirements and serve as liaison between technicians and clients.
Resolve issues through cross‑functional communication and problem‑solving.
Lead change initiatives impacting technicians, including process improvements, technology adoption, and compliance.
Distribute standard and emergency operating procedures for maintenance, replacement, and repair tasks.
Monitor inventory levels of equipment, parts, or tools.
Interview, select, and train new technicians.
Work with HR, Parts/Procurement, Fleet Management, IT, and other departments to resolve related items.
Operate a company‑issued vehicle for travel to technicians and customer locations.
Perform technician duties as needed, including preventive maintenance and parts repairs.
Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline with 6 years of related experience, or alternative combinations such as a master’s degree with 4 years, Ph.D. with 1 year, or 10 years of experience.
At least 1 year of management or lead experience.
Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record with a minimum of 3 years of MVR review.
Demonstrated coaching, mentoring, discipline, and ability to handle difficult conversations.
In-depth knowledge of mobile work environments, maintenance practices, and processes.
Strong coordination skills for solving technician‑related issues across multiple groups.
Ability to act with a high sense of urgency.

Interpersonal Savvy: Builds constructive relationships, uses diplomacy, and diffuses high‑tension situations comfortably.
Problem Solving: Identifies issues, develops practical solutions, and considers internal constraints.
Compensation USD 98,300.00 – 147,500.00 per year. The base salary may vary within this range based on location and candidate qualifications. The position may be eligible for additional incentive compensation.
Benefits The company offers flexible vacation with pay, seven paid holidays, up to 160 hours of paid wellness time per year, and additional paid time off for bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer time, military leave, and parental leave.
