Location: Plantation, Florida.
Your Responsibilities
Design and build scalable Power BI semantic models, including star schemas, relationships, and reusable DAX measures.
Develop and maintain production‑quality Power BI reports and dashboards that provide clear, accurate, and meaningful insights.
Write complex DAX calculations to create dynamic and interactive analytics solutions.
Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries and stored procedures for data extraction, transformation, and reporting.
Source, connect, and integrate data from multiple systems and platforms to support reporting and analytical needs.
Automate data refreshes and ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across all BI assets and reporting outputs.
Identify gaps in reporting and recommend enhancements to better support evolving business needs.
Design and deliver ad hoc reports based on evolving business requirements and specific queries.
Conduct business analysis to identify performance trends, operational patterns, and opportunities for improvement, translating data findings into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership and department stakeholders.
Collaborate with business units to gather analytical requirements, understand operational goals, and deliver insights that support strategic planning and performance monitoring.
Skills & Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Data Science, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field from an accredited institution.
3+ years of experience in BI development, focused on Power BI, DAX, and SQL.
Experience working with data warehouses, data visualization, and large datasets.
Practice and adhere to FirstService Residential Global Service Standards.
Conduct business with the highest standards of personal, professional, and ethical conduct.
Perform or assist with operations as required to maintain workflow and meet schedules.
Participate in meetings and work groups to integrate activities, communicate issues, obtain approvals, resolve problems, and maintain knowledge of new developments, requirements, policies, and regulatory guidelines.
Follow all policies and Standard Operating Procedures as instructed by Management.
Perform any range of special projects, tasks, and other related duties as assigned.
