Qualifications
2+ years of sales experience in AV, home technology, low‑voltage, construction, or a related field.
Proven track record with inbound lead conversion; you treat every inquiry like it’s the best lead of the week, because it might be.
Responsive by nature: a 24‑hour reply window isn’t a policy you follow, it’s how you already operate.
Consultative, relationship‑first approach you listen before you propose.
Organized and self‑accountable with pipeline management; CRM discipline is non‑negotiable.
Comfortable across multiple buyer types: homeowners, facilities managers, general contractors, designers.
Existing network in the northern NJ/NY metro market is a plus but not required.
Job Summary Leads come to us; your job is to make sure none of them go cold. You’ll respond fast, qualify well, and get clients booked for a site walkthrough before someone else does. From there you own the full cycle through close. The rest of your time goes toward hunting new business across residential, commercial, and custom integration markets, with a smaller slice dedicated to growing existing accounts.
Responsibilities
Respond to all inbound calls and inquiries within 24 hours every time, without exception.
Qualify leads quickly: understand the scope, timeline, and budget in the first conversation.
Book site walkthroughs promptly and confirm all details with the client before the visit.
Follow up on submitted proposals on a consistent cadence until the lead is closed or disqualified.
Log every inbound lead, touchpoint, and outcome in the Daisy CRM immediately.
Prospect and develop new business across residential homeowners, builders/contractors, commercial clients, and interior designers/architects.
Run discovery meetings and site visits to understand client needs and build the right scope.
Build and present proposals in collaboration with the operations team; manage the client relationship.
Nurture existing client relationships for repeat business, referrals, and upsell opportunities.
Represent Daisy NJ AV at local networking events, trade associations, and builder/designer community, when applicable.
Opportunity to grow exponentially and hire additional team members for you to manage.
