Overview 2020 Companies is hiring a full‑time Brand Representative to represent Dell. The role focuses on building relationships and brand awareness inside retail stores.
About The Job The Brand Representative (BA) will primarily build relationships and brand awareness inside retail stores on behalf of Dell. The ideal candidate is a people‑person who can cultivate relationships and build excitement about the Dell brand and products. Excellent communication skills and the ability to create thoughtful and positive interactions with both store associates and prospective customers are required.

Day‑in‑the‑Life as a Dell Brand Advocacy Representative
Typically work Tuesday – Saturday
Schedule is flexible to create a positive work/life balance and meet business needs
Refresh product displays on a quarterly basis
Incentives based on sales goal performance for Dell products
Build partnerships and trust with key stakeholders inside stores, including shoppers and retail associates
Leverage relationship building to educate retail associates on latest Dell offerings
Ensure Dell’s retail brand standards are maintained by inspecting all Dell branded displays and marketing
Travel within assigned territory to visit retailers and generate brand excitement with managers and retail associates

Shopper Experience
Enhance the Dell brand experience for shoppers
Demonstrate and promote Dell products at retailers in the assigned market
Be the in‑store resource to answer questions, discuss product features, and provide hands‑on demonstrations
Ensure retail sales personnel are highly knowledgeable on Dell devices’ unique selling points
Conduct experience events to engage retail sales associates and customers
Brand Presence
Confirm display devices are clean, functional, and available for customers to use
Inspect branded displays and marketing materials to maintain Dell’s retail brand standards
Survey in‑store branded fixtures and displays and record findings
Partner with store leaders on solutions for pricing or merchandising issues
Execute resets, including placement or removal of devices and marketing material
Market Intelligence
Provide insight into marketplace trends of territory retailers
Collect consumer insights weekly
Gather intelligence from high‑performing stores
Provide data on competitor pricing, incentives, promotions, and customer preference or sentiment

Job Description
Drive brand market share through daily direct and indirect sales activities engaging customers and retail channel partners
Develop partnership with retail store management to foster sales‑driving activities with associates
Schedule and facilitate sales and product training with front‑line store associates and managers
Ensure current products are displayed, functional, and clean
Set retail display resets and refreshes as needed within assigned markets
Opportunity to travel for merchandising throughout the nation
Drive sales productivity through high‑quality sales interactions with customers
Build and maintain industry vertical affiliate distribution relationships
Assess and communicate on‑site needs such as marketing material and promotional collateral
Educate customers while making product recommendations
Meet or exceed personal sales productivity goals and key metrics monthly and quarterly
Accurately document and report sales, schedules, activities, and best practices
Collect customer feedback and provide sales/marketing channel insight and recommendations
Set and maintain brand merchandising in retail locations and ensure all brand standards are followed
Performance Measurements
Meet or exceed quarterly sales goals
Meet or exceed weekly in‑store time goals
Visit multiple store locations daily and weekly
Schedule store visits at least two weeks in advance
Execute sales activities during each visit
Demonstrate the ability to influence business relationships through increased shelf space, product placement, and consistency
Maintain accurate documentation for each visit
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED equivalent required
6+ months prior retail selling experience in consumer electronics or technical/wireless products preferred
6+ months successful training experience, preferably within direct marketing/retail environments
Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
Ability to stage a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needs
Strong analytical skills and customer‑service orientation
Strong multi‑tasking, time‑management, and attention‑to‑detail skills
Ability to perform independently in an unstructured work environment
Travel within 70 miles of the ideal market zip code with occasional travel to other markets
Must have and maintain reliable transportation and state‑required minimum liability automobile insurance coverage
