Guardian is seeking a Sales Support Analyst for the Premier Market to support Sales Executives and Client Management in the 2‑1999 market. The role serves as the designated field resource, following SOPs for RFP and new business/add issue submission processes. Success requires strong product and business knowledge, collaboration, communication, project management, and proficiency with Guardian systems such as Outlook, Salesforce, CPS, Excel, Adobe, SharePoint, and Access. Key Responsibilities
Perform duties associated with inventory management, RFP processing, and new business/add issue submissions. Work closely with Sales Executives, Client Management, Rating, Underwriting, Onboarding, and Producers/Assistants to ensure timely and accurate processing of all required information. Manage RFP inventory and quote process: review RFP data, identify needed information, partner with rating and quoting to meet due dates. Meet with the team to review inventory status and recommend benefit/rate options based on RFP analysis. Engage internal stakeholders to develop comprehensive proposal strategies (dental recruitment, BenTech, Worksite, Enrollment). Negotiate rates, exceptions, and approvals with underwriters; discuss plan design and multi‑line options with producers and assistants. Build relationships with underwriters, brokers, and staff to meet customer needs while maintaining profitability and acceptable risk. Contact producers/assistants to follow up on quotes and gather post‑mortem data. Collaborate with the sales executive and underwriter to finalize sold quotes and initiate the onboarding process; hand over and transition the case from sales to onboarding. Serve as a subject‑matter expert on Guardian systems and procedures. Qualifications
BA or BS degree preferred, or equivalent work experience. 1–3 years of group insurance experience processing RFPs. Knowledge of group insurance products and services. Knowledge of underwriting principles and practices. Demonstrated success in servicing customers (producers/assistants/plan holders). Experience working with a field sales organization in a fast‑paced, dynamic environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent organizational and time‑management skills. Hybrid – 2 days in the Atlanta RGO office, with flexible work arrangement. Salary Range:
$49,260.00–$73,890.00. The final salary will be determined based on the candidate’s education, experience, knowledge, and abilities.
