is seeking a versatile Content Management, Technical Writing & Program Support Specialist to provide integrated support for content governance, accessibility compliance, technical documentation, and project coordination activities. Position Summary
This position combines expertise in content management, Section 508 accessibility, technical writing, business analysis, and program support to assist Federal leadership with website content updates, strategic documentation, executive communications, accessibility remediation, and administrative project management functions. The successful candidate will support organizational modernization initiatives while ensuring compliance with Federal accessibility and documentation standards. Key Responsibilities
Content Management and Governance
Update and maintain website content, hyperlinks, references, and digital resources. Support organizational content alignment initiatives and governance activities. Assist with SharePoint content administration and document lifecycle management. Section 508 Accessibility
Perform accessibility testing and remediation of electronic documents and web content. Evaluate materials for compliance with Section 508 and WCAG standards. Utilize automated and manual accessibility testing tools to identify and resolve compliance issues. Technical Writing and Business Analysis
Develop business cases, Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) documentation, strategic plans, reports, and executive briefing materials. Draft meeting summaries, white papers, presentations, and recommendations. Support market research and documentation of organizational initiatives. Program Support
Coordinate meetings, agendas, action items, and project schedules. Track deliverables and maintain project documentation repositories. Compile monthly reports and assist with data collection and reporting activities. Support transition planning and knowledge transfer efforts. Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with Government leadership and program offices to gather requirements and coordinate deliverables. Support communications related to strategic initiatives and organizational improvements. Recommend best practices for content governance and operational efficiency. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business, Information Management, English, Public Administration, or related field. Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting Federal programs in content management, technical writing, business analysis, accessibility, or program support. Experience with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 applications. Strong technical writing, editing, and documentation skills. Experience supporting Section 508 compliance initiatives and accessibility remediation. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Preferred Qualifications
DHS Trusted Tester Certification. IAAP accessibility certification. Experience supporting USDA or U.S. Forest Service organizations. Experience developing executive presentations and strategic planning documents. Familiarity with content governance frameworks and digital modernization initiatives.
