Bachelor's degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience. 8 years of experience in program management. Experience managing multi-group, multi-disciplinary construction projects and designs. Preferred qualifications
PE License, RA License, Chartered Engineer License or equivalent technical professional license or certification. Master's or PhD degree in Electrical/Mechanical/Industrial Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or related technical fields. Experience managing advanced manufacturing and data center design. Experience with data center specific or equivalent equipment/environments, including switchgear, generators, chillers, cooling towers, air handling units, building controls, security monitoring systems, fire safety systems, and a working understanding of start up/commissioning processes. Experience managing vendor relationships, with an understanding of standard practices in the design and construction industry. Responsibilities
Manage advanced manufacturing and data center design projects from detailed design through construction administration and finally closeout and handover to operations. Be responsible for gathering internal requirements, generating potential options, presenting to the leadership team, and delivering design solutions that satisfy customers needs. Create and manage strategies for the execution of designs that leverage a standard baseline plan of record. Overcome critical challenges while maintaining adherence to project timelines, quality and costs, and managing a cross functional set of stakeholders. Be responsible for managing strategy for projects that require deviation from the baseline design due to environmental, code or other aspects that require localization.
