Role Summary The Associate Growth Merchant Lead (aGML) is a field‑based, face‑to‑face sales role responsible for winning new restaurant partnerships in emerging markets. This is a high‑activity, hunter‑style position requiring strong interpersonal skills, tenacity, and comfort with travel.
What The Role Involves
Field sales: 3 days/week in the field (top performers exceed this), meeting restaurant owners face‑to‑face
Inside sales work: 2 days/week from home doing lead generation, Salesforce notes, and outreach
Travel: Most travel within 30Min-1 hour of home base, occasional overnights if further travel required (hotel covered), mileage reimbursed
Lead generation: Provided list of 250–300 leads, expected to add new leads and hunt independently
Schedule
Standard hours: 9 AM – 5 PM M-F
Flexibility required based on restaurant availability (e.g., 6:30 AM breakfast meetings)
Ideal Candidate Profile
People‑first communicator — engaging, conversational, fun to talk to
Tenacious “grinder” with strong work ethic
2+ years successful SMB sales experience, ideally: Restaurants, Food & beverage, Local territory sales, Door‑to‑door, solar, beverage distribution, insurance
Experience with cold calling, foot canvassing, and high‑volume outreach
Comfortable with travel and autonomous field work
Entrepreneurial mindset; able to build territory strategy
Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Wichita, KS.
Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $29.00 - $29.00/hr.
