Senior Network Engineer (P4) Location: El Segundo, CA – Onsite. Citizenship: U.S. citizen. Clearance: Active Top Secret (TS) required; TS/SCI preferred. Responsibilities Configure, manage, and upgrade Cisco network hardware and software (switches, routers, ASAs, Next Generation IPS/Firepower). Ensure Information Assurance compliance for network hardware and software, mitigating identified vulnerabilities (remediating IAVAM and DISA STIGS). Maintain compliance with security & performance requirements (NISPOM, RMF, DISA STIGs, NIST). Assure high reliability and performance through systems monitoring and infrastructure management. Work independently and as part of a collaborative team; interact with inter‑organizational contacts within the Digital Technology organization. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a related field and at least 8 years of experience, or an advanced degree and 5 years of experience, or 12 years of direct experience in lieu of a degree. Active and transferable Top Secret security clearance prior to start date. U.S. citizenship. Experience with LAN, WAN, routers, switches and other network hardware. Preferred Qualifications Experience with LAN/WAN, routers, switches and other network hardware. Background with Type‑1 HAIPE Encryptors, VPN technologies (IPSec, GRE, L2TP, DMVPN). Knowledge of firewall, ACL, IP address management, IDS/IPS, host‑based security, DMZ design and ACL implementation. Ability to create accurate network diagrams and documentation. Experience with 802.1X, Radius authentication, TACACS, vulnerability scanning, threat mitigation. Experience with SolarWinds, Visio, SNMP‑based network management. Security+, CCNA, CCNP certifications. TS/SCI clearance and Special Access Program clearances desired. RTX is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
