Job Description
Cornerstone Building Brands is looking to hire a highly motivated sales professional for the position of District Sales Manager in the California Market. This teammate will report to the Regional Manager and will be responsible for profitable growth and market development of the territory, supporting the components division including MBCI and Metal Sales Brands. Responsibilities
Direct sales to sub-contractors, general contractors, and roofing contractors within MBCI’s Commercial Roof & Wall segment. Develop and implement market plans that include customer analysis, competitive insights, growth opportunities, and revenue goals. Maintain a comprehensive understanding of all products and systems offered by Cornerstone Building Brands in the market. Demonstrate a complete understanding of key customers’ businesses and the critical measures that drive each account. Collaborate effectively with all internal departments to ensure an optimized and efficient customer experience. Operate within the company’s operating systems. Qualifications
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate and maintain positive relationships with all associates, customers, subsidiaries, agents, and sales force. Flexibility to maximize business opportunities as they arise. Minimum of 8 years proven sales/marketing and/or sales management experience. Experience in commercial construction and/or building materials. Pre‑engineered metal buildings experience preferred. Ability to analyze market conditions and competition and develop strategic responses to opportunities. Strong understanding of marketing, finance, and operations. Ability to work independently and in a team environment. Capacity to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Travel willingness: 50%–60% of the time (2–3 overnight stays per week). Competencies

US base salary range for this full‑time position is $85,000–$95,000, plus bonus, medical, dental, vision benefits starting day 1, 401(k), and PTO. Full‑time is defined as regularly working 30+ hours per week.
