New Exciting Opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager in Hampton!
Job Duties
Help develop, implement, and maintain the company's Quality Management System
Ensure compliance with customer requirements, defense contracts, and regulatory standards.
Lead internal, customer, and third-party quality audits.
Ensure compliance with defense industry regulations and standards.
Support government inspections and customer audits.
Manage quality requirements related to military specifications, defense contracts, and supplier quality programs.
Coordinate with program management and engineering teams on contract quality Establish quality objectives, KPIs, and performance metrics.
Monitor manufacturing processes to ensure product conformity.
Oversee inspection, testing, calibration, and quality control activities.
Manage nonconformance reporting and disposition processes.
Lead root cause analysis investigations.
Implement corrective and preventive actions for quality issues.
Track effectiveness of corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives.
Evaluate and qualify suppliers.
Conduct supplier audits and performance reviews.
Work with suppliers to resolve quality concerns and improve performance.
Leading and managing the QA/NDT team in the development, implementation, and execution of quality assurance processes and strategies.
Provide coaching, training, and performance management.
Promote a culture of quality and continuous improvement throughout the organization.
Collaborate with engineering, production, procurement, and program management
Ensure purchased materials meet contractual and technical requirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, Quality Management, or related field desired.
7–10 years of quality assurance experience in manufacturing.
3–5 years of leadership or supervisory experience.
Experience in defense, aerospace, military, or highly regulated manufacturing environments preferred.
Strong knowledge of quality management systems and audit processes.
Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement programs

Monday-Friday 7am-3pm
Salary
$100,000-$130,000 a year
