Job Summary Malibu Jack's, part of the Five Star Parks & Attractions family, is a vibrant indoor theme park and event space. We are seeking a Sales Coordinator to manage event sales, planning, and coordination for birthday, group, and corporate events.
Key Responsibilities
Report directly to the Sales Director and oversee selling, planning, and coordination of birthday and group events at the park.
Cultivate new customer relationships and maintain existing ones to drive annual event revenue.
Target external markets such as birthdays, school events, lock‑ins, field trips, corporate events, receptions, and milestone celebrations.
Serve as an ambassador for the park, fostering relationships with individuals and corporations to secure repeatable, predictable business.
Represent the park in community and networking events, enhancing visibility and participating in public forums and social media.
Collaborate closely with the operations team and staff to communicate upcoming events.
Reach out to potential clients under guidance of the Sales Director to secure new bookings.
Develop and execute a sales and marketing plan to achieve and exceed departmental goals and budgets.
Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of related hospitality or service industry experience, or equivalent education and experience.
Positive, engaging, team‑oriented attitude.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and a CRM system.
Excellent time‑management, organizational, and prioritization skills.
Customer service orientation with focus on customer satisfaction.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills and ability to foster a team environment.
Previous sales experience preferred; training will be provided if needed.
Valid driver’s license required.
Physical Requirements
Stand for extended periods; walk, talk, read, write, climb, balance, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as necessary.
Lift or move objects up to 20 pounds.
