Customer Outreach Specialist / Land Representative About the Role We are seeking a customer-focused
Customer Outreach Specialist / Land Representative
to support utility infrastructure projects involving overhead and underground power line construction. This role serves as the primary point of contact with property owners and customers, helping secure easements and maintain positive community relationships throughout project execution.
Hybrid role: Admin work is remote and the other half is in the field.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a professional representative when interacting with customers and landowners.
Communicate project information and address customer questions.
Research property ownership through public records and client databases.
Prepare, review, and obtain executed easement documents.
Document customer interactions and maintain accurate records.
Identify and report project issues or deficiencies.
Schedule appointments and efficiently manage travel routes.
Meet weekly performance goals and adhere to company safety standards.
Serve as a notary for legal document acknowledgments when applicable.
Qualifications Required:
Strong customer service and communication skills.
Comfortable speaking with customers in person and by phone.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Valid driver's license and ability to travel regularly.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
Preferred:
Experience in customer relations, right-of-way, land acquisition, real estate, utilities, or field services.
Notary Public certification or willingness to obtain certification.
Physical Requirements
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Frequent walking and vehicle entry/exit throughout the day.
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
