Essential Functions
Serves as data analytics resource analyst for CEI executives and administrative staff.
Provides technical advice and recommendations to senior leadership in developing data collection or survey questions.
Extracts, indexes, merges, and manipulates large and multiple data sets into database sources.
Attends meetings and training sessions, staying abreast of advancements in data science and project management.
Performs other duties reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
Specialized Skills
One (1) year of professional experience using data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.
One (1) year of professional experience developing prototypes in scripting languages such as Python, R, and Scala.
One (1) year of administrative experience in a data analytics specialist role in a public or business organization.
Minimum Qualifications
Four years of college, preferably with coursework in computer science, statistics, data analytics, mathematics, finance, economics, or related fields.
One year of responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization, or completion of an agency‑approved professional management training program.
Preferred Qualifications
One (1) year of professional experience using Tableau and Power BI.
One (1) year of professional experience developing prototypes in Python, R, and Scala.
One (1) year of administrative experience in a data analytics specialist role.
One (1) year of experience analyzing administrative problems and adopting effective action plans.
One (1) year of experience exercising judgment and discretion in developing, implementing, and interpreting departmental policies.
College coursework in computer science, statistics, data analytics, mathematics, economics, or related fields.
Conditions of Employment
Position requires passing a background check.
Overtime is a condition of employment; may be required for scheduled, unscheduled, or last‑minute work.
Requirement to travel to meetings, training, and off‑site consultations.
